Catalyze CU!

By Eliot Kersgaard

After a year of working on Myra Makes, we have been accepted into our first business accelerator, Catalyze CU!

What is a business accelerator, you ask?

Accelerators are programs which help companies expand their reach and evolve to the next level of impact! They typically provide funding, office space, mentorship and other perks!

As a part of the Catalyze program, Myra Makes will receive $4,000, office space in the Idea Forge at CU Boulder, and intensive training by some of the best in the Boulder startup scene! As part of the program we are also expected to conduct 10-15 interviews of people in our target customer market per week. If you would like to be one of them, shoot us an email at Contact@MyraMakes.com. We are one of 8 companies in the 2017 cohort, accepted out of a pool of almost 50 applicants! Have a great idea? Here’s more information about how you can apply to the 2018 cohort!

Follow Myra’s Musings to stay informed about what we learn and accomplish in this program!

On the first day of Catalyze, we participated in workshops about conducting good customer interviews and completing the value proposition canvas. Future posts will document our learnings in interviewing customers and how we filled out our canvas!
